About Paul
Paul Lewandowski is a US Army combat veteran, former MMA fighter, and YouTuber. He is the creator of the YouTube channels “Combat Veteran Reacts” and "MHGR," where he reacts to videos about military history, combat, and current events. Paul has over 300,000 subscribers on YouTube, and his videos have been viewed over 100 million times.
Paul was born in Pennsylvania in 1987. He received a Bachelors in Political Science and History from the University of Pittsburgh in 2009. The same year, he joined the US Army and served 6 years (4 active, 2 reserve). He was deployed to Afghanistan from 2009 to 2010 as the platoon leader of a 40-Soldier Military Police platoon. He earned the Combat Action Badge, Bronze Star, and was inducted into the Military Police Commandant’s 100. Most importantly, he brought all his Soldiers home.
After leaving the Army, Paul attended the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, where he earned a Master’s degree in Economics and National Security. He then spent 7 years working with the Department of Homeland Security’s Inspector General, investigating fraud, waste, and abuse in the immigration system.
