Welcome to The TAKEDOWN TOOLS™, the premier destination for innovative and user-friendly firearm tools. Born in the Pacific Northwest, our journey began with a pressing need within the firearms market for efficient, damage-free tools. That would eliminate the need for clunky sets that are made overseas. Recognizing the limitations of traditional roll pin punches, gun cleaning tools, and Gun Smithing products, & pivot pin tools, we set out to revolutionize the industry.
Our founder, Jonathan, with his experience with outdated tools and the subsequent damage to his firearms led to the creation of The AR-TAKEDOWN TOOL™. Utilizing Hammerless Technology™ and durable heat treated steel, our tools ensure a seamless Takedown/breakdown of your firearm without damaging ( scratching, marring) by utilizing brass ends on our tool. This was methodically thought out and consisted of dozens of prototypes to lock down the now coveted AR-Takedown Tool. The AR-Takedown Tool not only helps with gun cleaning & gun smithing but it also makes for a safe takedown process, protecting your firearm’s integrity.
With a driven goal and motivated to change the way we clean our firearms and offer the public a much more simplistic option to their gun smithing and gun cleaning needs. we pushed on through relentless innovation and rigorous testing. The AR-Takedown tool replaces all those old pivot pin tools, pin punches, roll pins, mallets, hands etc. One of the core foundations of The AR-TT company is that we will only use Steel & Brass are all USA made, The assembly & Manufacturing is all done in the USA, even the packaging and printing are made & done locally.
